Around 85 million people live in Ethiopia – more than half of them in dire poverty. This makes Ethiopia one of the poorest countries in the world, whose residents depend on outside help. The Ethiopian Enterprises is a non-profit organization that implements projects in Ethiopia – namely those that contribute to the sustainable development of the economy and society. Existing projects are financed, but new ones are also set up and implemented. This includes, among other things, the renaturation and recultivation of the water catchment area of Hagereselam in the north of Ethiopia, but also the rebuilding of the school in Mohoni, which is also in the rural north of Ethiopia. 100% of the donated funds flow into the projects.
We are happy to support Ethiopian Enterprises financially. For this purpose, Thomas Skipwith gives up to 10 lectures per year without a fee, but for a donation.
June 2016: Langnau am Albis (near Zurich) / Oberwil-Lieli: Ethiopian Enterprises is a non-profit organization that helps build schools on site in Ethiopia. 100% of the donated money goes to Ethiopia. April 2017: The Lions Club Herrliberg invited Thomas Skipwith as a guest speaker. Instead of a fee for the guest speaker, the Lions Club and its president Christian Vass made a donation of CHF 500 for Ethiopian Enterprises. Thank you very much.
